Casa HC

Turning challenges into meaningful places

Between the mountain and the sea, Casa HC unfolds as a sanctuary for family connection. Spaces flow between the intimate and the shared: from quiet moments of rest overlooking the landscape to evenings gathered around the fire under the stars. The house breathes with Guanacaste’s breeze, crafted by local hands with materials from the land, as a luminous tribute to its natural surroundings.

  • The family needed a beach home where every member, including one with special needs, could feel safe, included, and connected.

  • Rest areas were created close to social spaces with exterior views, while common areas were integrated with terraces, the pool, and outdoor gathering spots. The design used local materials, locally made furniture, and strategies for natural light and ventilation.

  • Casa HC strengthens family bonds while also supporting the local economy and sustainable practices, becoming a model of sensitive and conscious architecture.
